When it came time to install our Lake Pipes, we once again made the trek to Richard's  Performance Muffler in Vista, California.  Richard's expertise and quality workmanship is all it took to make us lifetime customers.

Besides everyday muffler operations, Richard builds custom headers and has done extensive fabrication for several off-road racing teams and many sand rails. If you're near the Vista area, stop by and tell him we sent you.

 

Basically, in an hour's time, the Lake Pipe's can easily be installed. By welding to the running board mounts, you can easily remove both the pipes and boards later if necessary. If your HHR is not lowered, Lake pipes will make it appear to sit even lower than it actually does.

If your ride IS lowered WITH running boards - watch out; It will have the slammin' look that keeps on giving!  (*Note: no problems scraping yet, but care must be taken over speed bumps and exiting the repair rack. With non-lowered HHR's - clearance problems are minimal.
